Week 41-- Feeling like a celebrity

Tjena tjena!

Solid week this week. Things are getting lighter and a bit warmer here!

Highlights:
This week we got to go in and visit two high school classes and speak about America. We threw some pics from home together in a slideshow and then presented to the class for about 45 mins about home, high school, what it's like to be a teenager, and all in English too (because it was an English class). Swedes love Americans, especially teenage Swedes, it felt pretty cool, to be honest, to go in and have them love anything/everything you say. Elder Strong and I thought about slipping in some fake, really weird things about America just to mess with them and watch them be amazed buuut we forgot to ha ha We've got 3 or 4 more visits in the next week so we'll see :)

We spent Thursday and Friday up in Luleå and Boden (2 hrs north) at a meeting with some missionaries and then on splits (when a companionship splits up and goes out with another missionary companion. Good training to see how others teach and contact). I was with Elder Hughes, a greenie (a new missionary to Sweden) who's been here like 5 weeks from Provo, Utah so you can imagine that was fun to go out with him ha ha reminds me just how far I've come as a missionary with the language as well as how much I've learned as a person.

We meet with our investigator PerJohan pretty much every day still. He's the man! He came to church early on Sunday to freshen up. So he was clean-shaven, hair done, and suit on. Elder Strong and I were so proud :,) He's progressing and has finished the Book of Mormon! It's always a good time teaching him, he feels like a friend now because we spend some time with him every day. He helps us a bunch with Swedish too. We had a "Movie Night" at the church (the 3 of us) and popped some popcorn and watched the Restoration Film. ( A fun movie about Joseph Smith and how he restored the gospel of Jesus Christ) Gotta love movie night w the boiz ;)

Everything is melting here. There are a few days that have been above freezing so I'm seeing the sidewalks and roads for the first time in 2 months. It all melts during the day and then freezes at night so pretty much everywhere we walk is slickkkk. It is nice though to feel spring coming on.

Spiritual thought this week comes from a scripture in the Book of Mormon, 2 Nephi 2:24. It reads:

"All things have been done in the wisdom of him who knoweth all things. "
(If you'd like a Book of Mormon so you can read along, go to mormon.org and they'll send one to you)

We're working right now to try and help Perjohan get an answer about if the Book of Mormon or things we teach are true. He's praying, he's reading, yet he hasn't gotten a direct answer. This is a lesson I've had to learn myself of being patient with God's timing. God has the best plan for us, with the best timing. It's easy when hard things happen or good things take too long to happen to blame God, but most often when we look back we see that everything happened at a specific time for a specific reason. Just something to keep in mind :)

I love you guys!

Tomater....my favorite Cars character

Grocery Shopping- We get one day a week to shop, do laundry,
clean our apartment, and email family and friends. It's called a
Preparation day, we shorten it to P-day.

The Skelleftea Lookout...again. Highest mountain peak in our area

Gotta love a missionary selfie

Another selfie...in the elevator

Another in the car. A face only mom could love. (And I do :-) )
